YouTube or School Tube
Create your own YouTube Channel for your school's activities. Watch & share MASC videos in your school and with other MASC members.

1. Use at your school to advertise events & great activities. Great PR for your school.
2. Do a 30 or 45 second video of your activity and upload.
3. Students like to REWATCH activities--especially if they are in the video.
4. Send your videos to MASC to be featured on MASC Channel.
5. MASC YouTube Channel can be a resource of ideas for you & your student council
6. Set up a Playlist of your favorite Leadership/Inspiration videos to show at the beginning of your meetings or assemblies.

Generate "word clouds" from any text your provide.

1. Put your school mission statement into a Wordle Cloud.
2. Use a famous speech and see the main words used (I Have a Dream, State of the Union, Gettysburg Address, Your Student Council Speech to the school).
3. Create your own words with your school name.
4. Design a t-shirt or front of a workshop packet.

Free survey generator.

1. Create a survey to get input from your students on spirit week ideas, dance themes, teen topics, assemblies, class competition, etc.

QR Code Generators
Codes that can be scanned by a smartphone for websites, text, or SMS.

1. Type in your URL, text, phone number or SMS to create a QR Code.
2. Save QR picture and insert QR Code on any/all correspondence.
3. Hang Codes in bathrooms advertising YouTube links, channels, quotes, your student council website, or facebook group.
4. You will need a QR Reader app on your smartphone to read the QR Code.
5. Use bit.ly to create QR Code so you can track how many codes were scanned or Kaywa Code Generator this code creator will not keep data how many scans were scanned.

Audacity
Free open source software for recording, merging, and editing sounds and music..

1. You get the music from various sources and this program edits parts of the song to combine into ONE song.
2. Record students about their opinions about events (who will win game, news events, favorite spirit week.

Windows Movie Maker OR IMovie OR iPhones, iPad, Mac
Create and edit video clips.

1. Create and edit video clips of your school activities and UPLOAD to YouTube or MASC.
2. Great way to share and see activities with other schools.

4. Take movies with your phones or cameras.

Dropbox
Cloud computing and great way to share files.

1. Install Dropbox on your home computer and school computer and you will never have to use USB key or email yourself the files. They are stored in the clouds.
2. Several of you working on the same file. Invite your cooworkers to "share" and all of you have access to the same file.
